Provably fair rips: how to check a result
What a fairness proof is, why the result is locked before you rip, and how to verify any pull yourself.
Provably fair means the result of a rip is fixed by data that is published before you buy, so neither side can change it afterwards. You do not have to trust us: you can check it.
How it works here
- Each chest has a secret seed. Before any sale we publish a hash of that seed (a commitment), so the seed cannot be swapped later.
- Your order adds its own input, and the combination picks your result.
- When the seed is retired it is revealed. Anyone can hash it, compare it with the commitment, and recompute every result drawn with it.
Checking a pull
Every pull has a rip record with its proof. Open it from your vault or your pull history, then use the verify page to recompute the result from the published data.
